Confusion about ILMT agent!

Hi,

Few days back I have setup & configured ILMT 9.X but I never find a single client doing all the things like BIGFIX client will always be there but to support ILMT its scanner version 2.8 will there too.

So want to know Is there any change in latest ILMT version in term of Agent or client, BIGFIX client will also do the work of scanner.

And if we talk about ILMT 7.5 was there any special agent which was dealing all the things & what is the difference between these 7.5 & 9.X.

I am not sure what you;re asking about here. If IBM releases new versions of the ILMT scanners, the fixlets to update the scanner will become relevant, and then it’s just a matter of deploying that fixlet to all ILMT clients.

The BigFix client doesn’t do the work of the scanners - they are individual executables that are launched via BigFix tasks and whose output is passed back to ILMT via the BigFix client reporting mechanisms.
