I’m managing about 1200 computers/servers. I created a task using the Software Distribution Wizard to install a custom MSI. 99% percent of the machines should show as relevant. I’m only seeing about 700. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
The relvance:
(name of operating system = "WinXP" OR name of operating system = "Win2003" OR name of operating system = "WinVista") AND (not exists file "C:\MTrack\MTrack.v2.20.mdb")
Last Friday night I ran the “Configure BES Relay to Use Different Drive - Version >= 6.0” on all of our relays to move the data from C: to D:. All of our relays are supposed to have a D: drive. Apparently some don’t. I think the task should have failed once it realized it was trying to create the wwwroot directory on the CD drive but it didn’t. Status for all relays was “Completed”.
In any case, I’m uninstalling/reinstalling the relay software on the machines without the D: drive tonight. I’ll keep you posted.
