If a computer is removed from the domain and put in a workgroup, should it get removed from Bigfix? I didn’t think so.
If a computer is deleted from AD Users and Computers, is it removed from Bigfix? I didn’t think that Bigfix depended on Domain membership.
I have two computers that have been removed from Bigfix after removing them from the domain. We do not have auto delete turned on.
It definately shouldn’t, we have used bigfix to switch acquisitions from one domain to another as well as have had devices that had to be removed from the domain and re-joined for trust relationship issues and have never had the client removed from the machine or from bigfix.
My bad. I am finding the systems now. I had the wrong computer name.
It would depend on Domain membership if you have a GPO configured to install/uninstall the client.
This wouldn’t remove it from BigFix, it would just stop reporting.
