Clients not checking in and getting updates

We’re in the process of getting ready to deploy BigFix and I’m seeing some weirdness with clients not checking in and getting their updates and I’m puzzled.

Clients have been deployed and clicking on them shows the relevant fixlets for Windows packages so I know they are talking to the server. If I highlight them and add them to a baseline all seems good. However clicking on the baseline doesn’t show them as applicable. If I try to take an action on the baseline targeted to the group that houses these servers, they never show up as applicable.

Sometimes restarting the agent works and other times it doesn’t. But I’ve got about 10 servers in these groups that show the fixlets as applicable but won’t deploy.

Client logs look good - I see it posting the reports but it seems like the response never gets or the server is confused as to what updates it gets.

Any ideas?

Are they relevant to the Fixlets in the baseline? And are you putting the baseline in a custom site?

Yes, the Fixlets are showing as relevant when I click on the computer and view the Relevant Fixlet messages. If I right click on one and add it to an existing baseline, it adds it correctly but the computer never shows relevant in the baseline.

Perhaps try clearing the console cache?
