Client Deployment <Invalid String> Computer Name

Hello,

I m working in an environment where there is a firewall and only selected ports are open, when i use client deployment tool by entering subnets, the computer name arent identified instead it displays .

What version of the platform is this? Also are your computer names all ASCII or do they include high bit characters?

We are using bigfix 9.5.2.56 version and we are deploying agents on windows platform.
no they don’t include high bit characters.

For example hostname: D005242KHIHOMKT

This is one of the issue fixed in the patch 9.5.4 with the APAR IV87667.

Thank you @elisa . Problem is fixed by updating to 9.5.5.
