Client Compliance API for Linux

The Client Compliance API that I’ve downloaded from https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/wiki/Tivoli%20Endpoint%20Manager/page/Client%20Compliance%20API includes documentation about using the API from Linux systems.

The “UNIX and MAC OS X Info.pdf” Document included in the download has a statement on usage as:
./compliance -c http://:52311/cgi-bin/bfgather.exe/actionsite .xml

I cannot find the referenced “compliance” binary, either in the API SDK, other BigFix Downloads, or on my installed Linux clients (9.0.853).

Where does one obtain the “compliance” binary, and in what path should it be installed?

For now you have to contact support. The Compliance API on the UNIX/Linux systems is not like the SDK variant we make for Windows. We are probably going to make them more common so that they can be used in the same manner. The Mac Compliance API is actually on the DMG auxiliary that you can download from: http://support.bigfix.com/bes/install/besclients-nonwindows.html#osx
