Is there a task to change wep wifi settings on endpoints?
This was a long time ago but looking at my task we used an executable called WLAN.exe. In the end there is a BAT file, an XML file, and then the EXE file. You run the BAT file and it will setup the profile(s) that you have configured. This is for the Windows XP built-in wireless service. I thought we did windows 7 as well but I don’t immediately see this one in our system.
It took a awhile because we were also doing driver updates before the WiFi config, but once we got it working we were able to automate the driver upgrade, disabling of the dell wireless software, and the enabling/config of the XP wireless service.
