Cannot launch console : database version error

Hi all,

After a fresh install on all-in-one ILMT I’ve started an update process from IEM console.
Now I cannot connect through the console with error message:

The database being connected to has a database version of 'Enterprise 6.20', and this application requires a database version of 'Enterprise 6.16'

I understand I need to upgrade the Console. But how ??
I cannot find an updated setup.exe…

Thank you very much for your help!

There should be fixlets that allow you to upgrade BESConsole versions. They’re in the BES Support. If you run it on the endpoint where you’re trying to connect through the console, you should hopefully resolve the problem you’re seeing.

PS… this problem happens because the server you’re trying to connect to has a different schema than what your version of BESConsole.exe is expecting, and BESConsole.exe as I understand it does some caching when you first load (hence the really long initial login spinny icon stuff)

You can download the matching console version for your ILMT version here: http://support.bigfix.com/bes/release/

This is the direct link to the newest version at this moment: http://software.bigfix.com/download/bes/92/BigFix-BES-Console-9.2.6.94.exe

You will need to do it that way if it is the root server that has the problem, otherwise you would have to run the upgrade fixlet using the REST API.

@dexdexdex 's answer assumes it is not the root server and all other consoles that are having the problem.
