Can you pass parameters to standbytool.exe

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to pass parameters to the standbytool.exe? We have a “schedule wake from standby” enabled for some pilot machines and noticed the following this morning.

There was a machine that came out of standby at the scheduled time, but when looking at the SchedLgU.txt file and looking at the last runtime in c:\windows\tasks in windows explorer, it doesn’t look like the scheduled task ran, but the machine did come out of standby at the scheduled time.

Is it possible to have the task that is created by the standbytool run something similiar to:

eventcreate /T INFORMATION /ID 1 /L Application /SO BigFix /D “Machine wake up”

instead of cmd /C cd.

This will create a event in the event logs to show that the task did indeed run.

Thanks
