If you have people manually install BigFix on existing machines, it is helpful to know not just that BigFix has been installed, but that it is successfully communicating with the infrastructure. There may be a delay before the client shows up in the bigfix console, or something may have been set incorrectly that is preventing a regular operator from having the correct permissions to see the client in the console.
