IBM BigFix is pleased to announce an update to the WebUI. This release contains several updates to improve overall performance and usability.
List of Improvements:
Technical improvements to reduce sync server gathering impact and improve updating speed
Several bug fixes
A ‘gather’ button that gives master operators the ability to request Platform releases 9.5.7 or later to gather WebUI sites ahead of schedule
This latest update includes a security update for Node, which is included with the WebUI. For more details about the node vulnerability fixed, see: https://nodejs.org/en/blog/vulnerability/oct-2017-dos/
We are also enabling a one-question survey capability within WebUI, to provide users an opportunity for providing quick product feedback every 90 days. This survey question will appear as a pop-up on the bottom right hand side of the Overview dashboard. This survey validates IBM’s commitment to enhance and exceed the user experience with our products.
