BigFix WebUI new release available! (September 2022)

HCL Software is pleased to announce an update to BigFix WebUI!
The main features in this release are as follows:

Insights for Vulnerability Remediation

  • “Show Summary” now enabled by default
  • Fixed an issue where Fixlets marked as ‘hidden’ were being displayed in IVR
  • Fixed an issue where drilling down by Vulnerability ID was not working correctly

Insights

  • Updated ‘Site’ field on Import Sites page to use the Site Display Name

Patch Policies
Patch Policies now supports content from the following sites:

  • Advanced Patching
  • RHEL 8 ppc64le

Patch Policies has also been enhanced with the capability to dynamically target by operator written relevance.
A user with the appropriate permissions can now write relevance to define a policy’s target. The policy will be deployed to all of the user’s managed devices that evaluate to True for the relevance statement (including those that evaluate to True after the policy has been defined) rather than a static list or group of devices.

  • CVE-2022-25844: XLTS for AngularJS

Resolved Defect Articles:

  • KB0087726: WebUI Devices page : the “Last Report Time” filter in AND condition with the “Computer Name” filter does not work with a correlated device
  • KB0099682: Adding software package via URL sometime fails on WebUI
  • KB0099330: WebUI is stuck on loading App Patch page
