We’re seeing issue since few weeks where we have to restart our WebReports instance as it’s not updating anymore, we see this by Last report time in WebReports which is off by several hours compared to the console.
We have dedicated WebReports server and SQL database is hosted locally on the server. We have this configuration for several years already without any issues. We upgraded back in November to version 11.0.3.x and in February we also enabled the new Webreport experience.
I’ve opened case beginning of this month with HCL Support and could not see any real problems only that we had DEBUG enabled, so recommendation was to disable this to free up CPU cycles, this worked fine until this weekend where issue happened again.
CHecking webrepots logs I’m seeing below error that started on Saturday and only dissapeared after restarting the server
Sat, 22 Mar 2025 11:00:01 +0000 – 23336 – Server could be busy. The HTTP threads limit of 250 for the internal ‘relevance’ service has been reached.
I’ve checked BigFix settings but could not see anything related to this, or where I can increase this 250 value
When I checked Task manager noticed that BigFixWeb Reports server was constantly running at 99% and consumed 27GB of RAM. After restarting the server everything went back to normal but noticed after 10-15 minutes that reports did not updated, so restarted the BigFixWebReports service. Again after 20-25 minutes noticed reports are not updating anymore. Not seeing any real errors in Web Reports logs, CPU /Memory are normal.
I’ve re-opened the case with HCL support but wanted to see if somebody else might have seen similar issue in their environment.
THx!
