I suspect there’s some totally explainable reason for this, but…
All of my clients are running version 7.x of the client. The “upgrade your clients” fixlets are not relevant (that’s fixlet IDs 496, 467, 468, 480 in the BES Support site) and I have verified that yes, we really are using v7.
Here’s the rub:
My “installed applications” report is showing almost all of my clients using BES Client 6.0.
I suspect that the BES Client 7.x upgrade installer used by the fixlet didn’t modify the info in the registry that the retrieved properties pull from, but that’s pretty broken and makes the other technical staff ask annoying questions.
The installed applications property has a 24 hour report interval by default so if you upgraded your BES Clients just recently you might not see the property reflect the update for a day. Otherwise, verify that the analysis is still activated and you aren’t looking at stale results which won’t ever update.
I double checked that the registry is updated correctly and is reported properly in both versions of the BES Client. I can’t think of anything else to explain the problem atm.

I updated to BES 7.0 a week after release; could you see if a BES 6 client pushed via BESClientDeploy.exe but then upgraded to 7 and beyond via a Fixlet updates the installed applications info correctly? Otherwise, any suggestions on making it show the correct version in installed applications?
