Hi All. We are in plans to upgrade the environment from Bigfix 9.5.3 to 9.5.11, we had faced issues earlier in upgrading the DB as it found few connections as an active connections and failed to upgrade. Would someone please share the experience of upgrading the bigfix environment? Like what precautions should we take to backup SQL, custom sites, License key, custom content etc…etc and also suggest the best possible recovery option in case Bigfix root server gets corrupted and cannot be restored to known good working version of Bigfix.
Also in any scenario how can we use our primary DSA server to work as root server in case Bigfix root server cannot be restored?
