Position Summary:
Skills
Prior extensive experience writing application code or scripts is a must. Preferred coding experience includes JavaScript, HTML/XML, and ASP.NET, experience with shell scripting, VBS and Perl.
Multi platform OS experience desired, UNIX, Linux, Windows Job Description This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining Reporting content in the BigFix Enterprise Suite (BES).
This position will require prior experience developing BigFix content using the proprietary BigFix Relevance and Action Script language.
Strong knowledge of BigFix relevance inspectors is preferred. Strong knowledge of creating custom reports in BigFix Web Reports is preferred.
Prior extensive experience writing application code or scripts is a must.
Preferred coding experience includes JavaScript, HTML/XML, and ASP.NET, experience with shell scripting, VBS and Perl a bonus.
Must be able to multi-task and interface with technical teams from various IT areas within the Federal Government workspace.
Daily activities include collecting requirements from the Program Management Office, creating BigFix reports to meet these needs, and supporting this developed content through steady-state.
The candidate should also have experience with the deployment of agents to multiple sites and distributed management. Experience using a DMZ relay for off network asset control is a plus. Experience customizing and establishing web reports is a plus.
Candidate must possess the ability to document and articulate the environment through detailed design documents and implementation plans. Candidate should be comfortable presenting solutions and recommendations to senior management.
Position location is Washington DC supporting a large Federal Agency. Candidates do not require a clearance, although they must be clearable.
