Bigfix SAML integration issue

Hi,

Recently we have done the SAML integration with Bigfix according to the steps mentioned on https://help.hcltechsw.com/bigfix/10.0/platform/Platform/Config/c_how_to_configure_bigfix_to_int.html

Post the integration, SAML option got enabled on console as well but when we try to login on console, webui and web reports it says below error.

Is there any suggestion on it?

You need to trace it backwords. If it never sends you the the actual SAML provider then the first step would it be to make sure that there is not anything blocking the traffic between your UI (console/workstation that is opening WebUI/Web Reports). If that works start enabling debugging logging on BES root server/WebUI/console and see if you can capture the actual login event.

It’s been quite a while since I configured our environment but for what is worth I never had any issues on this stage - the trickier bit is actually configuring the form of SAML response and the actual configurations (timeouts and such), so I would suggest double-checking your URLs/ports/etc and make sure they are ok. The above can easily be caused by incorrect URL it is trying to redirect you to and/or the actual SAML provide not listening for authentication requests at the URL.

Out of curiousity, what is you SAML provider? I’ve had the system configured with two different and it does make a difference…
