BigFix Performance Issue/Blind Flight During Operations

We have an interesting problem:

We are using BigFix to manage to patch our servers but after about 12:00 midnight BigFix turns into a blind flight mode (like cinderella). It works fine, doing tasks but no reporting. %90 of clients are grey out but they are doing scheduled tasks.It eventually solved in 3-4 hours everthing becomes normal without any help.

Bu during restart operations it is a disaster for us not to get reports from clients. They are all grey.

Could anyone can suggest anything? We will be appreciated, and really happy :slight_smile:

The problem occurs only the weekend we are doing restarts.Approximately 200 servers every half an hour and 1500 server during night.

There is no performance alert from management, relays or sql server. There is no schedule task on sql server an on db as well.

Since it is occurring right at midnight, I’d check whether the Update Historical Counts is locking the database. That’s a fairly common thing. There are some good details in the thread at All Endpoints stop updating for a specific time of the day
