BigFix Patch is pleased to announce support for SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 on x86_64.
The new site called ‘Patches for SLE 15’ uses zypper, which is SLE’s default package manager, and contains content from the following channels for SLE 15 systems:
- SLE-Module-Basesystem15-Pool
- SLE-Module-Basesystem15-Updates
- SLE-Module-Desktop-Applications15-Pool
- SLE-Module-Desktop-Applications15-Updates
- SLE-Module-Server-Applications15-Pool
- SLE-Module-Server-Applications15-Updates
- SLE-Product-SLED15-Pool
- SLE-Product-SLED15-Updates
- SLE-Product-SLES15-Pool
- SLE-Product-SLES15-Updates
Actions to Take
SLE 15 requires BigFix Client version 9.5 Patch 13 (9.5.13.130).
Subscribe to the Patches for SLE 15 site from the License Overview Dashboard. If the site is not showing in the License Overview dashboard, update your license from the dashboard by clicking ‘Check for license update’, then run the BigFix Administration Tool.
Register the SCC download plug-in from the Manage Download Plug-ins dashboard, available from the ‘Patching Support’ site. Use your Organization Credentials, which is listed in the SUSE Customer Center or Novell Customer Center during the registration.
Users of the SCC download cacher will need to update to version 1.1.1.0:
