I have recently started BigFix installation on Windows.
While proxy was configured, and bigfix websites were added, the Bigfix Management button would not appear.
What can be wrong, I cannot continue with the installation.
GatherDB.log is showing:
Unexpected exception during gather of site BES Support: class GatheredFilesNotVerified
The most common issue is an IPS blocking some of the download of the BES Support site. As you mentioned IPS it could be that its blocking some of the web content that is being downloaded but not connectivity.
Thanks for the reply. initially yes, there was the IPS blocking, but the security team is now saying there is no IPS at all for the bigfix website. But nothing changed though.

Thank you, this helps narrow down the issue. If the Gather Status Report is showing a successful gather of the site, but the updated content does not appear in the Console (and there is an associated error in the GatherDB.log), then the issue is likely in the Root Server gathering from itself. Can you verify that nothing is interfering (proxy, IPS, etc…) with connections to localhost or 127.0.0.1 on the Root Server itself?
