IBM BigFix Lifecycle is pleased to announce that Fix Pack and interim fix (iFix) for IBM WebSphere Application Server for Windows Platform are now supported in the Advanced Patching site.
You must subscribe to the Advanced Patching site. From the License Overview dashboard, under Lifecycle Management, subscribe to the site to access the content.
The Advanced Patching site now contains the following patching content for WebSphere Application Server:
- Supported platform: Windows Supported Product: WebSphere Application
- Server component Versions: 8.0, 8.5, 8.5.5
- Supported Patch Type: Fix Pack and interim fix (iFix)
Note: The site will support Fix Packs and interim fixes for IBM WebSphere Application Server that are released after December 10, 2015.
You can also download content using the Download plug-in and Custom repository features. For more information, see Supported download methods in the Advanced Patching site.
Actions to take:
- To access the content, you must subscribe to the Advanced Patching site from the License Overview dashboard, under Lifecycle Management.
- For WebSphere Application Server content, subscribe to the Advanced Patching site, version 2 from the License Overview dashboard, under Lifecycle Management.
- For WebSphere Application Server Download Plug-in and Custom Repository, subscribe to the Patching Support site, version 446 from the License Overview dashboard, under Lifecycle Management
To access the download plug-in dashboard, go to the following locations:
- From the All Content domain: Sites > External Sites > Patching Support >Dashboards > Manage Download Plug-ins dashboard
- From the Patch Management domain: All Patch Management > Dashboards >Manage Download Plug-ins dashboard
