Does anyone know the what is the use of Fixlet “Download BigFix IVR Retriever” ?
I installed the IVR to integrate with Qualys and i can see this fixlet but unable to understand the use of it.
The IVR Retriever service is part of the latest v4 framework that currently supports Tenable Vulnerability Management (documentation reference). This Fixlet (and associated Service) is not yet applicable or needed for IVR integration with Qualys.

Hi Aram,
One more question, i upgrade the IVR to 4.0 using the upgrade Fixlet available. After that i see that the C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BFIVR directory is empty.
I understand there may be a design change in this new version however in case if i have to change the ETL sync setting for Qualys or any other change where can i do the same now.
I am not seeing DataFlow XML file and other directories now and the earlier fixlet which use to provide the qualys credentials to connect are disabled now.
Please suggest.
The current latest version of IVR that supports Qualys is v2.0.3: Deployment and configuration for Qualys
I’d suggest re-deploying/configuring that version. Data synchronization schedules and configurations for Qualys are still achieved via the dataflow.xml you referenced associated with IVR v2.x
We will publish an announcement on the Forum when Qualys (and other Vulnerability Management Products) are supported on IVR v4.
