Job Description

We are looking for a talented, highly motivated, and technically minded individual to work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Solutions Architect (SA) in our rapidly expanding Federal Sales organization. The BigFix SME / SA role requires a unique blend of technical and organizational capabilities. This person must be able to solve technical solutions and collaborate with clients to ensure successful adoption and ongoing usage of the BigFix platform and solutions. Skills will include the following:

•Ability to understand customer requirements and their technical / network infrastructure.

•Ability to manage account activities and collaborate with client managers to plan and implement and maintain enterprise solutions.

•Ability to represent the customer and customer’s interests back to the BigFix sales and support team.

•Ability to provide BigFix best practices and ensure proper usage of BigFix throughout the software lifecycle.

•Ability to collaborate, plan, and communicate with BigFix personnel and participate as member of overall account execution team.

Job Requirements

•Must have Top Secret (TS) security clearance and clearable to Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TSI/SCI). In addition, candidate must also complete a full-scope polygraph (FSP).

•Bachelors degree in a technical field (CS / Engineering preferred).

•3 to 5 years of experience with a software vendor or reseller implementing enterprise software products for customers.

•Previous experience with enterprise systems management platforms including BigFix, Microsoft SCCM/SMS, Tivoli, HP Radia, Marimba, LANDesk, Altiris; or previous experience with enterprise security related products.

•Extensive experience with systems management or security management in one or more operating system platforms including Windows, Unix or Linux.

•Good written and oral communication skills, detail oriented approach to problem solving.

•Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Perl, .NET, Java).

This position requires posting at the customer site (in Washington DC) for presentations, installations, support, and deployments.
