BigFix currently works with many government agencies and we are looking for someone to help provide best in class service to our Federal government agency customers.
Responsibilities:
•Provide advanced support (proactive and reactive) to our largest, most complex customers
•Maintain responsibility for the overall satisfaction and success of a subset of these customers
•Become a hands on expert in BigFix enterprise software products providing expertise externally and internally on critical issues, architectural design, and custom solutions
•Maintain active communication regarding customer activities amongst interested parties in Sales, Services, Support, and Engineering
•Deliver onsite and remote training
•Create custom applications, scripts, and reports to satisfy customer needs
•Create/review knowledge base articles, guides, and other technical documentation
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or other science
•4+ years of experience in the enterprise hardware or software industry in support, quality assurance or engineering roles
•Expert knowledge of Windows required
•Strong knowledge of networking and SQL Server
•Some experience with Unix, Linux, and scripting/programming
•Experience using advanced troubleshooting tools and techniques
•Must have strong communication skills to successfully manage sensitive customer relationships and articulate complex technical information
•Periodic travel to customers, business partners, or vendors
•Exposure to Altiris, LanDesk, Symantec, and McAfee is a plus
•Must have very strong leadership skills, professionalism, confidence, listening skills, extremely motivated and committed to excellence
•Experience working with Federal agencies is a plus
•Security Clearance(s) is a plus
