the import is scheduled and enabled for 9 PM IST but it does not initiate on the specified timing.

Do you have access to the BFI App server backend to check application tema.log and if there are any JAVA core dumps in the logs folder?
If there is any memory or other issue and java process core dumps, the scheduler stops working. This can be checked by reviewing the tema.log (\wlp\usr\servers\server1\logs)

If there was some issue with the java process, restarting the application will re-enable the scheduler, but the java issue also will need to be addressed.
