Hi All,
Normally Bigfix asset inventory value (RAM, OS, CPU, User name, etc…) from where it is collecting on endpoints ?
For example - Windows machines values getting from Kernel level (or) WMI stored value,
Even if the WMI services stopped status mean can we get the inventory value from end points ?
Help me if am not understanding the meaning of kernel and WMI,
Thanks,
Nagaraj,
In the console you may open Tools-> Manage Properties to determine how each property is collected. It can vary by property and client OS.
RAM, user name, and CPU are not likely using WMI; but some properties such as RSOP (group policy results) probably do use wmi.
Hi @JasonWalker

I am trying to understand this
Thanks,
Nagaraj,
