BigFix Inventory Question Software Removed

I hope the forum is the correct place to submit a BigFix Inventory question.

When an application has been removed from a Windows box, why isn’t this reflected in BigFix Inventory? I had a Windows box where we removed a commercial application that had been correctly identified by BFI. However after we removed the application, BFI still showed the application was installed. There are no issues with data imports or the client reporting in. Perhaps there is a report that shows the time it was installed and removed, not sure.

Has a new software scan been run after the application was uninstalled? In which report are you seeing the application listed?

Go to Reports -> Software Classification, click “Configure view” and add Discovery Start and Discovery End dates to confirm the application has been deleted and the endpoint has been scanned after the uninstallation.
