BigFix Inventory 9.5 Duplicate Publishers in the software catalog

When I do a search in the software catalog why do some products show duplicate publishers? Shouldn’t they be listed under one Publisher? Both examples below show software signatures assigned to them.

Software Example:

Chaos Software Group Inc.
Chaos Group

The name of the publisher may change over time, for branding purposes, or due to acquisition by other publishers. IBM does keep the major software publishers reasonably consistent (Oracle, Microsoft, etc.).

If you need to keep track of such things, you can use the Contracts functionality within BFI or an external asset management system like IBM Control Desk to normalize the publisher names for the software you have installed in your Enterprise.

Thank you for your response. I submitted an RFE just in case. Please feel free to pass the link and up vote along.
