The BigFix team is pleased to announce the release of version 1.1 of the BigFix Insights for Vulnerability Remediation application (included in the BigFix Lifecycle and Compliance suites)! This application will enable IT Security and Operations teams to collaborate much more effectively by automatically correlating discovered vulnerabilities to their proper remediations, while providing prioritization data to focus remediation efforts.
The main features of this release are as follows:
- Support for Tenable.io!
- BigFix Insights for Vulnerability Remediation can now consume vulnerability data from Tenable.io
- Additionally, BigFix can send endpoint asset data from Insights to Tenable.io for visibility into potentially unmanaged assets to ensure proper coverage with vulnerability assessments
- And for those customers that have Tenable.io + Tenable Lumin, BigFix Insights for Vulnerability Remediation will also consume asset prioritization data include Tenable’s Asset Criticality Rating (ACR) and Asset Exposure Score (AES)
