“BigFix” can investigate installed software.
I do investigation (collection) of registry information of any place and do judge installed software?
An example:“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE”?
Thank you.

Hi mashiki,
There is no central place that you can look that will give you an authoritative list of all installed applications on a Windows computer. If you want to know which applications are installed with a high-degree of confidence, you should look at our DSS Software Asset Management product. The DSS SAM solution will look at your add/remove programs, exe files on the system, exe usage info, and look at other parts of the system and will compare it to a catalog of known applications and then analyze all the info to tell you what is installed and used on your computer.
You should ask your sales person for more information about our DSS SAM solution.
