BigFix and Tenable.sc

Hi everyone, please does anyone have experience connecting BigFix with Tenable.sc? I have a BigFix server on a Linux platform from a customer and the customer bought Tenable.sc and would like to connect it all. It is clear to me that I will still have to have a server on a Windows platform, but I want to connect. What to do? According to the instructions, I didn’t succeed much :unamused: Thank you very much for any advice

Hello!

Today, BigFix Insights for Vulnerability Remediation requires a Windows-based BigFix Server given that it is built on Insights, which itself only supports MS-SQL-based BigFix Servers.

Thank you Aram. Is there a possibility that BigFix server on Linux and BigFix Insights on Windows will work in one implementation? So that a new BigFix server would only be installed on Insights on Windows? Will it work together?

I’m not sure that I fully understood the question, but you can’t have both a Linux-based BigFix Serer, and a Windows-based BigFix Server with the same masthead/license (i.e. they would be 2 distinct BigFix instances).

Yes, you understood it correctly. I just wanted to ask if there is no “department” BigFix Insights on a separate Windows Server.
