BigFix Agent Supported Operating Systems

I saved all of my questions for today :smile:

I have Sys Admin who is asking if the following OS are officially supported by the IBM Agent and if so they should list it on this page: (and if not when)

Debian 8
Ubuntu 15
Linux 6 and 7 with the Oracle ā€œubreakableā€ kernel running.

For Ubuntu we only officially support the LTS variants (which are even years released in April)

Debian 8 and Oracle Enterprise Linux are not currently supported (as of today 3/17/2016) in any of our releases.

To note, the Debian 8 and Ubuntu 15 OS releases do have changes in the DEB file format so youā€™ll have to wait for them to be released officially in BigFix (and for Ubuntu that means an agent that supports 16.04 to have the functionality but not the support)

Is there any road map that might indicate when Debian 8 will be supported?
