Big Fix integration with BMC Remedy Ticketing

I would like to initiate a dialogue with any Big Fix customer that has integrated any version of Big Fix with any version of BMC’s Remedy ticketing tool.

Hi wintet,

This type of integration is slightly more complicated than the relatively easy asset data integration because of all the customizations that generally occur to the ticketing systems… I believe our services team can assist you with this if you are interested.

But as far as I know, most customers simply cut-and-paste the BigFix action information into their Remedy Ticket system and from several people I talked to, they said they didn’t really want much more integration than that. (Hopefully some people will comment on what they typically do with BigFix and their change control systems.)

What sort of integration did you have in mind?

Hi Ben,

I’ve a similar request from a Customer. He want to see the inventory hw/sw data of BigFix in Remedy.

Is possible to use a linked server to read one or more DB table of BiFix MS-SQL ? If yes, what are the tables names of inventory hw and sw ?
