Big fix console loading issue

Hi All,
We are facing issue with console taking more that 2hrs to load action.
We have tried on root server and console server .At both places it’s taking long time.Root server have enough ram and storage.

Is the database local or remote? Is the Database server scaled sufficiently and does it have a low latency to the root server? Is the storage sufficiently fast?

Do you have the Cleanup tasks scheduled to run regularly (in the BESAdmin tool)?

Have you checked the ‘Deployment Health Checks’ Dashboard? That can often highlight issues such as a large number of actions.

You might open a Support ticket for other suggestions, as well as reviewing the BigFix Capacity and Planning Guide linked at BigFix Capacity Planning guide - Customer Support . The Capacity guide includes notes on benchmarking the disk I/O speed which is very important for performance.

I recommend enabling console debug logs to identify which specific items may be causing longer load times.

Another thing for quick review, check all your custom sites for any newly added files that might be contributing to the delay.

As suggested by @JasonWalker, opening a support case with BigFix can provide a more in-depth investigation and remediation.

Additionally, if you are not yet using BigFix v11, I strongly recommend upgrading as soon as possible, as version 11 includes significant improvements in console load times.
