BFI vs TAD4D/LMT comparison... two main areas of interest

Hi,

I’ve been comparing BFI and TAD4D to find the overlap between the two but more importantly, where TAD4D is ‘stronger/better’ than BFI in order to bridge these gaps when migrating to BFI.

The two major one’s that is sticking out at the moment, are:

  1. Shared file system support for software inventory (TAD4D = YES / BFI = Limited)
  2. Full hardware inventory (TAD4D = YES / BFI = Limited)

How are these gaps being addressed, how / what will bridge those for BFI?
