I have a Win2003 server running scanner version 2.8.0.8000. When my baseline runs to install/upgrade the scanner, scan, upload results, etc, the “Install or Upgrade Scanner (9.2.15.0)” fixlet fails on installcit.cmd with an exit code of 1 because Win2003 is no longer supported (https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/489210/issue-with-install-scanner-on-windows-2003/ )
If Win2003 is no longer supported, why doesn’t the relevancy of the “Install or Upgrade Scanner (9.2.15.0)” exclude Win2003 and all unsupported OS?

I second this. The Install fixlet should not be applicable for Windows 2003.
I would suggest opening a ticket for this issue to allow the relevant team to review and implement a change if required.

There is no need to open Case for unsupported OS, as it will be closed as unsupported environment…
We will discuss with dev, how this should be handled, because its not only that we should prevent users installing scanner on unsupported OS, but also, we should prevent data to be imported from such machines.
@MichalPaluch Did you get any workaround from Dev team for this issue,

Yup, have they replied by now?
We had other priorities due to BFI divestiture to HCL, so still no solution.
