Hi all,

Submitted RFE/idea to overhaul & automate the public cloud identification (tagging) process which tells BFI that certain devices are public cloud of some kind, so no VM Manager data is available. The current process is manual and delayed, and not in-line with the general practices/uses of public cloud devices where certain devices can be offline nearly all the time meaning that they will continue to always show “No VM Manager Data”.

This unfortunately has downstream impacts like for example, devices of such status are automatically excluded from being viable in ServiceNow Graph Connector integration which only makes things worse. If you think the idea has merit please vote.

I think the ServiceNow Graph Connect should not require VM Manager Data. It appears arbitrary. At least put in a switch to permit overriding the default filter.

I did vote for the idea as well. There is more than enough data built into BigFix to be able to make a first guess. If it is wrong, then a Computer Setting to override is appropriate.
