BFI 10? Is 9.5.17 Dead?

Hi BFI’ers!

Had planned to upgrade my BFI from 9.2.14 to .17 this week. All I am seeing is v`10 in the console now? (I do have .17 downloaded separately waiting)…is this right?

HCL Announced BFI v10.0.0 this week. They are synchronizing the version numbers across all the product lines (Platform, Compliance, Inventory, etc.) According to the release notes, BFI v10.0.0 is equivalent to ILMT v9.2.18, so it is next in line after 9.2.17.

Interesting that the fixlet name to install the latest scanner says it is v10.0.0.1 but the actual scanner version reported from the analysis is 9.2.19.000. It doesn’t seem like they are syncing the scanner version at least (which is frustrating).

I agree - there are many inconsistencies in the version numbers across the various products and components of BigFix.
