Is there any guidance on using the BESComputerRemover and Audit Trail Cleaner utilities in a DSA environment? Should they be run independently on each DSA server, or executed in a particular order? Should FillDB be stopped until the cleaners are finished?
I run my environment in DSA, I have the BESComputerRemover run each night on both servers at the same time, cleans up the databases without issue and I have never had to stop the filldb service. If have my db’s set to 5 min on replication and have nver had a problem.
Thanks, much appreciated. Last time I ran it was on 9.0 and it gave me some problems. I’m hoping to make it routine for my environment as well.
