BESClient Starts, Then Stops on Windows Server 2016

I have a windows server 2016 that I’ve installed the BESClient version 9.5.12 on and it will start and enter a running state. Then about 4 seconds later, it stops. I turned on Debug logging and the last few entries are as follows:

The windows event viewer shows an error in the system event log that the BES Client service terminated unexpectly.

Has anyone seen this before? I’ve tried to re-install the BES Client and restart the server, but still happens.

Thanks for your assistance!

Hi ,

Nothing much found on logs.
did you uninstalled with the BESRemover tool?

Regards,
Riyazbasha

Hi RiyazBasha, Thanks for your response. I just tried removing with the BES Removal tool and oddly enough…it is now working. Thank you for your advice!

Cheers
