We recently changed servers. One of the things we were told to do was to change the BESClient_Report_MinimumInterval to 3600. I did that, but failed to change it back before all the agents started reporting to the new server. I changed it again to 900 thinking that is what the default value is.
All old computers show this in their properties:
BESClient_ActionManager_SkipVoluntaryOnForceShutdown 1 Local
_BESClient_LastShutdown_Reason Service manager shutdown request Local
_BESClient_Report_MinimumInterval 900 Local
_BESClient_UploadManager_BufferDirectory C:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Client__BESData__Global\Upload Local
The new client show only:
_BESClient_ActionManager_SkipVoluntaryOnForceShutdown 1 Local
_BESClient_UploadManager_BufferDirectory C:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Client__BESData__Global\Upload Local
The old clients seem to go hours without reporting in. If I select ONE client, and delete the custom entry for _BESClient_Report_MinimumInterval, ALL the old clients suddenly report in.
What gives and how do I get rid of the Custom setting for _BESClient_Report_MinimumInterval for all the old clients without changing the properites on each one. I don’t get the same options when I select ALL clients and bring up the properties page.
Is the 900 seconds or minutes?
Thanks,
Chris
