Using bigfix 9.5. Got a number of over 200 clients that reports a status of client installed and not running. These machines are not visible in console. The only way i’ve identified this machines is by running the bigfix client deployment tools that reports this status. An RDP to this windows endpoint shows that bigfix is installed and besclient service is stopped.
Restart of the besclient service fails. BES Client helper service also doesn’t help in restarting the failed agent though its already installed on same endpoint. The troubleshooting reasons to restart the BES Client also fails to restart the besclients. All endpoints are windows 7.
Challenge with with version of bigfix is that the bigfix client deployment tool doesn’t re-install or override the besclient inatalled on this endpoints.
How can i un-install all this agent from the console despite them not being visible on console?
What would be a work around to restart failed agents?
