BESClient errors showed in WMI, causing CPU spikes

Hi,

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, after googling BESClient, I believe it’s related to BIGFIX.

I’m using Lenovo Yoga X1 3rd Gen.
Recently, there are short hangs happen occasionally.
I tried to track down the problem, and found some CPU spikes every time the short hang happens.

Suggested from some articles, I open WMI-Activity in Event Viewer, and found that there are some errors reported every time the short hangs happen.

The ProcessID of errors match ProcessID of BESClient.exe.
However, I have no idea what is the problem with this process.

Could any one please help provide suggestion.

Thank you.

BigFix is a system management product likely installed by your company. Many of the things we monitor may include calls to WMI, and if your company is checking something resource-intensive or have crafted their query in an inefficient way, then yes you might see symptoms like that.

Suggest you contact your company IT and report the issue to them. You might refer them to this post if they need assistance diagnosing the problem.
