BESAdmin.exe missing on Server folder

Hello team,

BESAdmin.exe has been been quarantined by SentinelOne agent and now the file is missing in server folder.
When tried to run BES Admin from Programs it says “shortcut is missing”, we have raised a ticket with Sentinel team aswell to unquarantine these files.
But I just wanted to know if there is any other alternate way to get this BESAdmin file again(any or all other options).

You can restore BESAdmin.exe from the following sources:

  1. Backup: If you maintain regular backups of your BigFix directories, retrieve the file from your backup.
  2. DSA/DR Server: If you have a DSA (Disaster Server Architecture) or Disaster Recovery server, copy the file from its installation directory.
  3. HCL Support: Contact HCL Support to request the appropriate installation package or guidance.
  4. Server Installer: You can re-extract BESAdmin.exe by running the BigFix Server installer on a test machine

Antivirus and other security tools may be dangerous on BigFix data. I would consider, if it’s a fresh install, to add the AV exclusion in place and reinstall: AV Exclusions on Windows
