we have installed a new Tivoli Endpoint Manager (bigfix) server, the first one. My college can use the Tivoli Endpoint Manager console from his windows xp computer.
When I start the bigfix console on my computer I get the error message: “A connection to “BES_bfenterprise” database cannot established. This means that the network connection or the database servers are not working proparbly or the database server ist offline”. This is translated from an error message in german.
We have checked the OBDC connection and the test is working fine, i have tried several solutions i have found in the user group.
We use TEM 8.1 and i have an SQL Server installed localy, not for TEM
