I’ve created a number of Automatic computer groups with the computer property Active Directory Path\contains<OU Name> and have found this works well. I’m having a problem with the computer group with Active Directory\contains\Servers, this property does not result in any machines for this computer group. There are approximately 200 machines contained in this OU. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I can only hope there are no typos in either the relevance or the OU group name? Look at the AD path in BigFix and see what it contains. Maybe it’s different for some reason? If it works for one and not another it’s likely because of some human error somewhere.

Occasionally I have found the “logic” in the filters is a little suspect.
You have the option to use Active Directory EQUALS or CONTANS (Ou name)
Something I have to EQUALS rather than CONTAINS in order to kick the group into working correctly…
I assume you are using 9.1?.. Is this the 1st time you have done this since upgrading to 9.1 ?..

This was not a typo. I ended up creating a manual computer group and will keep the group updated manually.
