Auto-Remove Computers?

(imported topic written by FArchambeault)

The title may not properly explain what I want to do, but here goes…

If a computer with the bes client on it does not check in or respond for a certain period of time, is there some automated action I can setup to move it to a special container or delete it form the system?

There is a way to do this, and I know we do it in our environment, but I’m not certain of the specifics.

Well. I just checked. We have a scheduled task that runs on the Root server and runs a utility called “BESComputerRemover.exe” with some command line arguments daily.

Just to expand on jgstew’s reply, the TEM Computer Remove (BESComputerRemover-3.0.1.137.exe) found in the Utilities library can remove computers on a number of criteria.
