Asset Discovery using NMAP Scan Point

Like to get experts thoughts on my scenario.

I got some 100-150 subnets which I like to scan , In the "Run NMAP Scan " Fixlet , I see option to initiate scan on local subnet. Does it mean I have to set up 1 scan point on each subnet ?

I also came across “BigFix Asset Discovery NMAP Scan Wizard” , which allows option to give multiple subnets . Is this the solution for my case ?

Also please share your practical experience on max number of subnets that can be scanned safely (considering network impact) in one go.

If you’re looking to only have 1-5 endpoints do the scanning, the wizard you found will likely do the trick as long as the endpoints you’re using have network access to all the subnets. Personally, I would designate an endpoint in each subnet just because I think it would go much faster.
