Asset Discovery - Scan is picking up managed assets with BES Client installed

I just built a new image and I am running the latest IEM version. I installed Asset Discovery and all is working correctly but the scan is picking up managed assets on the network. I used the Wizard and Run Scan command and both are capture assets that have the bigfix agent installed. How do I turn off the scanning of the managed assets?

You can use exclude hosts:

I have 466 BES Client machines installed and they are not in ranges that would easily exclude them and I would have to maintain the list. The way this use to work was that the managed assets were not scanned automatically.

I found the answer. Use the task Change Nmap Asset Discovery Server Settings which removes the BES Client. Thanks

There might be more to it than that - an issue was spotted just today in the Unmanaged Asset Importer (v.9.0.0.15) code - and has since been resolved. You should look for and use the new version that will come out in the coming weeks (v.9.0.0.16).
