I was wondering if there is somebody who can help solving this mystery?
I have created a custom site, only computers having a specific client setting are subscribed, this works as it should, no issue’s till here.
In that custom site, I have created Fixlets and Baselines, but none of the Fixlets or Baselines are relevant to the subscribed computers in that Custom Site?? What am I doing wrong?
I have already created a copy of a fixlet and set the relevance to all computers, but that fixlet is still not relevant to the computer in the custom site.
When I check on the subscribed computer for Relevant Fixlets and Tasks by Site, I don’t see the custom site in the list. So this is the reason why it’s not working I think, but I don’t know the reason why. Can anyone help?
Thanks a million!
Hi there, thanks for your answer, but the fixlets are created in the custom site. I even created a new fixlet, but it’s not becomming relevant, even after refreshing the agent on the computer etc.
If you created a fixlet with only the relevance of “true” then any endpoint that is subscribed to the site would become relevant.
If that doesn’t work then I’m not sure what is happening. Perhaps the endpoints are not gathering the site. Is the customsite name only using ASCII characters? Using anything other than ASCII characters might cause an issue with the gathering on the endpoint.
Hi all, thanks for your many replies. I have re-entered the custom property on a test device this morning so it would be subscribed into the custom site, and now everything is working as it should! The fixlets are now relevant for that device. Very strange and lets hope it will continue to work correct. Again, thanks for your suggestions.
